Tonight, simply days after performing on the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Brooklyn, Cher will return to the highlight to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Corridor of Fame alongside Foreigner, Mary J. Blige, and Dave Matthews Band. And naturally, Zendaya is in attendance to pay homage.
The actress, who final channeled Cher at the 2021 Academy Awards with the assistance of her longtime stylist Legislation Roach, confirmed as much as the induction ceremony in Cleveland, Ohio carrying a gold, ab-baring classic Bob Mackie costume from Cher’s go-to designer’s fall 2001 couture assortment titled International Intrigue. The costume—which includes a criss-cross design throughout the bodice and a sheer, low-rise skirt with a excessive slit—was the finale look on the runway throughout New York Trend Week in February of 2001 and styled alongside a white silk-satin trench coat that Zendaya can be carrying this night. In response to Law Roach’s Instagram Stories, the coat is embroidered in gold and diamond iridescent bugle beads and stones. The costume, he continued, was totally hand-beaded in gold, diamond, and iridescent bugle beads and aurora-borealis stones.
