TRAVEL AND TOURISM ADVOCATE JULIE SCHMITZ JENSEN PASSES AWAY

          The household of Julie Schmitz Jensen confirms the passing of long-time tourism and journey advocate Julie Schmitz Jensen. Jensen served greater than 20 years throughout two stints main Go to Fast Metropolis, previously generally known as the Fast Metropolis Conference and Guests Bureau. WHEREAS, Julie Schmitz Jensen has been a tireless advocate for the journey and tourism business for the reason that late Seventies when she started her customer business profession within the administration of Governor Richard Kneip; and

WHEREAS, Julie’s profession within the tourism and journey business has included stints in Pierre, Sioux Falls and twice in Fast Metropolis, the latter leading to greater than 20 years of mixed service selling native and space journey and tourism-related companies and people; and

WHEREAS, Julie served as government director of the Fast Metropolis Conference and Guests Bureau from 1983 to 1997; left to boost her household, then returned in 2014 to usher in a brand new period for the native customer expertise, overseeing the rebranding of the Conference and Guests Bureau as Go to Fast Metropolis; and
