What doesn’t kill Kelly Clarkson makes her stronger.

Simply hours earlier than she deliberate to kick off her Studio Periods residency at Las Vegas’ Colosseum Theater at Caesars Palace July 4, the “Since U Been Gone” singer postponed her first two reveals.

“We have now been working 24/7 to make Studio Periods probably the most intimate and extraordinary expertise with and for my unbelievable followers,” Kelly wrote in a statement shared to Instagram July 4. “I’m past grateful that you simply at all times present up for me and I’m devastated to must postpone tonight and tomorrow’s opening at Caesars.”

As for why the American Idol alum—who shares children River, 11, and Remington “Remy” Alexander, 9, with ex-husband Brandon Blackstock—needed to cancel the reveals so final minute? Nicely, it appeared she was experiencing some vocal pressure.

“The prep and rehearsals have taken a toll on my voice,” the assertion continued. “I need the reveals to be good for y’all and I want to guard myself from doing critical harm so I’m taking this weekend and subsequent week to relaxation up in order that we will ship what you all deserve. The present is really unbelievable.”
