Set Dutch oven (or heavy backside pot) on medium warmth and add the lamb first – since it’s the fattiest piece it should produce extra oil within the pot – and chop it up whereas it cooks. After 1-2 minutes, add the bison and chop and stir collectively.
Notice: if wanted, drain the surplus liquid and fats from the meat (though there shouldn’t be a lot) right into a bowl, then place the pot again on the warmth.
When the meat is about 80% cooked with a number of pink items, add the onions and prepare dinner for two – 3 minutes or till the onion edges start to brown.
